Meet Dr. Shelley Shults

"Dr. Shelley" is originally from Wichita, Kansas but relocated to the Dublin Powell area in 1990. She studied music education at Friends University from 1973-1975 with an emphasis on piano and trumpet performance. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University in 1982 after working as an orthodontic assistant for 5 years. She then pursued her Masters in Community Health Nursing in addition to working in internal and emergency medicine. She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University in 2001. While at the University, she developed the initial database for the research of implant failure mode causations.

Dr. Shelley is passionate about team leading HPSH Health Professionals Serving Humanity since 2000 and serves as a Board Member. This is a dental mission team that provides dental services to the indigent and underserved population in the Bay Islands of Honduras. She volunteers at the Grace Medical Clinic as a registered nurse providing free medical care for the underserved populations in Delaware, Ohio on Wednesday evenings.

Dr. Shelley is married with one daughter and one grandson. Her hobbies include playing the piano and trumpet, photography, floral design, cake decorating and computer graphics. Her passion for patient care is genuine and obvious. If you have a need or question, she always welcomes a call.
